As founder and director of the King Health Center Inc. in 1979, Dr. Frank J. King, Jr. developed a research team to test and correlate various natural therapies and their clinical results. Homeopathic medicines were found to be the most profound and effective treatment systems of all the natural therapies tested. Through this research, King Bio began pharmaceutical
manufacturing in 1989. The King Bio product brands are designed to effectively address the complex health problems facing physicians and consumers at the retail level.

King Bio has empowered hundreds of thousands to overcome disease by giving them the necessary tools to attain and maintain optimal health, through the use of safe, natural, and effective health products and procedures. 

The King Bio Community Outreach Program (KBCOP) grew from our desire to serve the sick and suffering while constantly searching for the most effective answers to our health care questions. While the pursuit of optimal health and human potential begins within each of us, it becomes more powerful and transformative as we share this potential with our neighbors.

We at King Bio strive to accomplish this goal through offering the benefits of the natural medicines we make. By partnering with health care professionals and other local service providers we can better meet the health care needs of our society. It is our fervent desire that in so doing, our community, as a whole, can realize the potential of optimal health and well-being.

The King Bio Community Outreach Program focuses on bringing the benefits of natural healthcare to the disadvantaged and those needing special care through partnering with health care practitioners, government organizations designed to meet the needs of the disadvantaged, private non-profit groups, and mission groups within our boundaries of intent. 

The grant comes in the form of professional education on contemporary homeopathy, supporting reference materials, and a range of King Bio Natural Medicines custom selected to fit the needs of those applying for the grant. The process is outlined below:

1. Interested groups fill out the enclosed application and return it to King Bio.

2. King Bio reviews the application and, if necessary, schedules an interview.

3. Final approval is given and a timeline is created for implementation of the grant.

4. A King Bio Representative visits with the group and begins educating those responsible for using the remedies. This education can take as little as two sessions but can be extended to meet the needs of each group as different situations arise. 

5. The group begins to assimilate the products into their day-to-day workings. On-going assistance will always be provided along with contact numbers of King Bio representatives in order to maintain the community relationships being developed as well as insuring that the group is successful at implementing the products and philosophies.

6. After a pre-determined period of time, King Bio will reevaluate the group’s progress and, if necessary, extend the grant period for another term. Each group will be required to keep record of their implementation and the growth in their service effectiveness.

We generally give high priority to the following:

• Programs that provide food, shelter, health care and basic
  services for disadvantaged persons or animals
  
  
• Projects that satisfy unmet needs in the community without
  duplicating other programs or services
  
  
• Programs that clearly define and measure goals
  
  
• Initiatives in keeping with King Bio’s philosophies and
  company culture

We generally exclude funding for the following:

• Programs that discriminate on the basis of race, color,
  religion, sex, age or national origin
• Individuals (as opposed to group-based initiatives)
